In an effort to ensure that accurate information is available in the case management system Advocare on individuals receiving waiver services, the Division of Disability and Rehabilitative Services (DDRS) announced that it is working with waiver case managers to update information under the "individual's living arrangements" tab in the Advocare case management system to reflect actual living arrangements for all CIHW participants. To this end, DDRS released three (3) announcements on this effort, including detailed communications targeted at consumers, case managers and providers.
Hands in Autism® has put out a call for artists for its expo “Hidden Talents: Celebrating Abilities through Exposition”. Artists should have an Autism Spectrum Disorder or represent communities celebrating Autism Awareness Month. The submission deadline for Original artwork or prints of original artwork to be displayed at the gallery is April 8, 2015. The expo is April 23rd and 24th at the IUPUI Campus Center.

In order to ensure that information is accurately reflected in the States’ case management system Advocare, BDDS has worked to make available through the Advocare Provider Portal, the opportunity for Providers who are listed on a current Notice of Action (NOA) to view the individual’s current Living Arrangement. Documents on the Division of Disability and Rehabilitative Services’ Announcements page outline the steps that a provider may take in order to view this information and contact the participant’s case manager should the information be inaccurate. These updates may result in an individual’s Objective Based Allocation (OBA) being adjusted to match 460 IAC 13. |
