The Indiana Health Coverage Programs (IHCP) posted the following important information to the provider website at in.gov/medicaid/providers on October 10, 2019 (unless alternate date is noted).
At the September 24 - 1102 Task Force meeting, Julie Johns-Cole, Executive Director, Indiana 211 Partnership, Inc., and Catherine McNaughton, Deputy Director and Manager of Community Resources, Indiana 211 Partnership, Inc., provided a presentation on the Indiana 211 Program.
During the presentation there was discussion regarding the lack of Indiana 211 resources specifically for individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. One legislator appointed to the Task Force noted that in his district neither of the organizations that provide services to individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities were Indiana 211 resources. INARF encourages members to contact Indiana 211 in order to be added as an Indiana 211 resource. The Division of Disability and Rehabilitative Services (DDRS) released the Request for Information for the provision of Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS). The Request for Information also requests responses which identify innovative strategies to improve the transition of students with disabilities from school to employment or postsecondary education.
