The Division of Mental Health and Addiction has received some additional prevention funding that must be used before September 30, 2019, to address health disparate populations, and/or high need populations as identified by the Center for Substance Abuse Prevention, for whom there are limited evidence-based substance abuse prevention efforts. The timeline necessitates using existing contracts and existing needs assessment data.

The Division of Disability and Rehabilitative Services Bureau of Developmental Disabilities Services will host a Train-the-Trainer Core A/B Medication Administration training session on March 15, 2019, at the Indiana Government Center South in Indianapolis. The training session will be held in Conference Room 2 from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. EDT and is for agency nurses who work for approved BDDS providers. Once the training is completed, agency nurses will be approved to train agency staff.
INDDNA 2019 Meetings are scheduled for 2/8/19, 5/10/19, and 8/9/19.
