On June 23rd, INARF Associate member Crowe Horwath will be holding a free, one-hour webinar titled: Cybersecurity Risk Management: How You Can Respond Now. The webinar is an overview of how to respond to Cybersecurity risks, including a practical approach to identify and prioritize a proper response. Participants in the webinar will have a better understanding of the latest trends in cybersecurity including, but not limited to: recognizing foundational response steps, utilizing a practical approach for assessing cybersecurity risks, and how to prepare a cybersecurity breach prevention and response program.
Autism on the Seas (AotS), founded by Connecticut resident Michael Sobbel, organizes cruises for children and adults with autism and other developmental disabilities. Sobbel’s travel agency sets standards for “autism-friendly” cruise ships by teaming with experts from the autism industry, representatives from the Cruise Industry and parents of children with disabilities, as well as Americans with Disability Act legal counsel. This team provide input to the AotS vision - to provide a vacation for families who normally face an all-consuming task of caring for children with severe disabilities.
On June 19th, INARF member Wabash Center, Inc. will open three newly constructed client homes. The ceremony will be held at 20 N 27th Street in Lafayette, IN from 3 PM to 4:30 PM. Following a ribbon cutting ceremony, participants will enjoy light refreshments and a tour of the affordable and fully accessible homes. Pyramid Inc., a non-profit organization in Florida, serves adults with severe disabilities. Their Tampa location, one of five within the state, has developed an innovative concept of teaching adults with developmental disabilities to express themselves through the arts while making money doing it. This includes things from singing and dancing to pottery and painting.
Carey Services, INARF member and State Use Program provider, is preparing for its largest annual fund-raiser, the 9th Annual Duck Race. The race will take place on June 27 at Marion Splash House at 11AM however, you need not be present to win.
