As previously announced, effective July 1 John Dickerson of The Arc of Indiana is passing the leadership torch to Kim Dodson. The Arc of Indiana is cordially inviting you to join in the celebrations honoring Dickerson for his 40 years of service and commitment to The Arc, individual with disabilities and their families.
The Coca-Cola Company, Founding Partner of Special Olympics, has assembled a team to record a unified song for the World Games, titled “Reach Up.” The song will be performed during the World Games this summer in Los Angeles, CA. The games are set to welcome 7,000 inspirational athletes from 177 different countries.

Believing dyslexia to be both misunderstood and under-researched, Daniel Britton designed a font which mimics the experience of reading with dyslexia. A graphic designer from the United Kingdom, Britton, has lived with Dyslexia his entire life. In commenting on the purposes behind his efforts, Britton says, “It simulates the frustration and the work and the outright embarrassment of reading with disability.”
INARF member LOGAN Community Resources, Inc. will be holding its 12th Annual LOGAN’S Run on August 1. LOGAN's Run combines fun and fitness, energy and effort with the end result being a celebration of everyone's ability. The 10K Run, 5K Run/Walk, and 1-Mile Fun Walk will course through the University of Notre Dame campus with the Start/Finish Line placed on White Field, on the northern edge of campus.
