Check out these resources to stay up-to-date with the most recent changes at the IHCP. Indiana Vocational Rehabilitation is providing several face-to-face trainings in the month of February for community employment managers, directors and leaders, and for VR supervisors and regional managers.
During these “Forms and Employment Service Updates” trainings, VR will present new changes to the Indiana Employment Service model. You’ll also receive instructions about updates and improvements to several employment documentation forms. To register for one of the Forms and Employment Service Updates trainings, please see the attached flyer. Trainings will take place in Indianapolis, Marion, Jasper, Seymour, and South Bend. Register now! VR is presenting these trainings in a train-the-trainer format, so that you’ll be able to take this information and, in turn, train your staff. Note that VRCs, VRCCs, employment specialists, and other community employment professionals will be invited to participate in a 90-minute webinar on either February 25 or 26. INARF Staff and consultants are working hard to ensure that our issues are included in the budget bill, and we need your help reaching out to your Representatives over the next few days as they discuss what will be included. At the bottom of this message, you will see a link to our Call to Action page where we have drafted a pre-written message requesting support for appropriations for industry issues, including DSP wage funding, Vocational Rehabilitation funding, First Steps funding, and Case Management funding.
