BQIS would like to apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. The November 16 webinar will be held as planned.
Kelli Tungate, State Director of Caregiver Homes, an INARF member, recently wrote an opinion column for Fort Wayne’s Journal Gazette. Her column coincides with National Family Caregivers month, which has the national theme of “Respite: Care for Caregivers.” Tungate’s column urges those seeking care for loved ones to find the highest quality possible. She notes that this isn’t always easy because there is a “maze of resources” available, but offers some solutions for consideration.
Earlier today, the Division of Disability and Rehabilitative Services (DDRS) published a bulletin announcing the availability of a Service Definition Matrix on the CIH Transform webpage. The Service Definition Matrix outlines all of the current services offered under the CIH waiver as well as some new services that will be proposed to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) in early 2016 for approval.

Rauch, Inc., INARF member and Ability Indiana employment center, will be accepting nominations for its 2016 Imagine Awards. The vision of the Imagine Awards is to celebrate those who are committed to making a better community and world for people with disabilities. Deadline for nominations is November 20.
